THE INSTITUT CATALÀ DEL PEU CONDUCTS A BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS TO THE RIDER JULES CLUZEL.

A few days ago, the Institut Català del Peu conducted a biomechanical analysis to the rider Jules Cluzel of the world superbikes 600 cc category. Jules Cluzel achieved eighteen victories in the World Supersport Championship, being nowadays in this category. The Biomechanical Department of the Institut Català del Peu is carrying out analysis of riders due to the significance it has the fact of having some knowledge of biomechanics pre lesion sportsmen and being able to make a post lesion biomechanical monitoring in the readjustment.

The biomechanics is a discipline which studies and analyzes the movement of the human being. The sporting biomechanics, is focused on the human movement in general and, particularly, on the specific sport which is played.

These analysis give a lot of information and they are very useful for physical therapists, podiatrists and doctors of sportsmen, which provides an improvement in treatment, rehabilitation and readjustment of sportsmen.

The Institut Català del Peu is a pioneering center which conducts biomechanical analysis of this kind in motorcycling, thanks to its own assesment protocols, equipment, material and specific equipping, as well as to the skilled professionals for this task.
