THE INSTITUT CATALÀ DEL PEU CONDUCTS A BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS TO THE RIDER JOHN MCPHEE.

A few weeks ago, the Sporting Biomechanical Department of the Institut Català del Peu, conducted a biomechanical assessment to the British rider John McPhee.

John McPhee is a rider of Moto3 standing of the MotoGP championship in the Petronas Yamaha Sepan Motor Racing Team.

John McPhee was able to carry out all the tests with no problem, apart from bearing perfectly the physical requirements in the braking simulation test.

The tests which we conducted to John McPhee, who in that moment didn’t have any lesion, gave us a feedback of his physical state. And in case there is any lesion, during the readjustment stage of the lesion, we will be able to assess and to compare his physical state with the previous one to the lesion. This fact allows us to carry out an efficient monitoring of the improvement and to know when he is at the peak of his fitness, as well as to have also a thorough control in his development in order to avoid relapses in the lesion or to cause another new lesion avoiding to force  the injured extremity.
