THE INSTITUT CATALÀ DEL PEU, BIOMECHANICAL DEPARTMENT OF THE CATALAN TENNIS FEDERATION, CONDUCTS AN ANALYSIS TO THE TENNIS PLAYER ARNAU MARTÍNEZ.

The Institut Català del Peu during the month of March continued with the functional and biomechanical assessments of the technique through Fitmetric, its department of Sporting Biomechanics with the collaboration of the Catalan Tennis Federation. Arnau Martínez Jove has a magnificent sporting career in spite of being so young. Arnau Martínez, at his early age, has already been twice Catalonia’s champion in junior category and sub 13, being moreover, the losing finalist in double junior in Spain. His sporting experience is very obvious, with excellent results and a very good scope. There is a big bet to know the functional state of the tennis players and how it can affect to the technique through a complete analysis with biomechanical technologies which, furthermore, make up muscular electromyography. We are sure we are sowing the basis of a great plan which will be every time more accessible to all kind of tennis players, in order to help them to shine in their sporting careers with the task we would carry out with trainers, technical coaches and the Catalan Tennis Federation. It has been a pleasant job and of a great effort from the team of trainers of the Catalan Tennis Federation, with Miquel Moreno and Óscar Mas at the top, as well as the staff of the Institut Català del Peu for this nice and enthusiastic plan which we are carrying out in common
