Doctor Marc Boix, responsable for “Health Us Nepal” NGO, is carrying out a big supportive plan.
This plan involves fitting out a primary care center in Simikot, which is the provincial capital of Humla. There are no roads throughout this province, being the access to this region mainly on foot for several days and also by light aircraft when the weather conditions are good. The setting up of a health center is very important for the improvement of health conditions and which treats the most essential and urgent needs of a vulnerable community.
The Institut Català del Peu contributes periodically and economically to this purpose.
We wish that the staff of Health Us Nepal wil improve the health conditions of this Nepalese community.
