THE INSTITUT CATALÀ DEL PEU CONDUCTS AN ANALYSIS OF THE SPORTING PERFORMANCE TO THE RIDER XAVIER SIMEON.

The Institut Català del Peu made last week some biomechanical tests to the rider Xavier Simeon, of the world EMotorbike.

These biomechanical tests involved making a trial on the CKU28 simulator with braking, where the electromyographical activity of the muscles was appreciated, applied mainly when braking and movement, clenching strength with the assesment of the flexor-extensor capacity of hands and assesment of the position on the bicycle because cycling is a sport which mainly trains the cardio.

Xavier Simeon of Belgian nationality, has taken part in the GPMotorbike category with the Reale Avintia Racing.

He was champion in 2006 of the 600 Superstock  European championship and also in 2009 of the 1000 Superstock FIM Championship.
